The problem

A film-production SaaS needed its own show, weekly, breaking down how directors work. No host availability, no studio, no camera crew.

Judgement calls

One fixed brief: each episode, a director shoots the same convenience-store rice ball. Tsai Ming-liang is long take plus silence plus city. Wes Anderson is symmetry times pastel times flatness. Wong Kar-wai is distortion times saturation times step-printing. The formula goes on the blackboard, then the ad actually gets made. Same rice ball, three films, and the difference in style is obvious at a glance.

The skeleton never changes: intro, blackboard formula, three-part breakdown, generated demo ad, close. Two AI hosts, TONY and LISA, in lab coats, taking a director's style apart like an experiment. Identity is locked with master reference images, not text, so the faces hold across a dozen episodes.

The Thai-comedy episode moved the set to a holiday villa and made two demo ads for fictional brands before breaking them down. A bonus episode cuts twenty failed versions of an AI fight scene to show that AI learns how things look, not how physics works.

What the client gets

A brand can own a show. Weekly episodes, two hosts who never age, never call in sick and never change their look. Demo ads arrive as finished films at pitch stage, not storyboards. Same brief, different styles: a client can pick from finished work.
